I tell you, this having a husband with a job that doesn't work 100+ hours a week thing is great!
Although I have a feeling it may not last long so I'm taking it while I can.
Daniel was bummed he missed out on our apple picking adventure so we decided to make a day of it.
It was so much prettier this time around.
The leaves were gorgeous.
Honey Pot Farms was hopping because of the holiday.
Thank You Columbus.
First we picked apples, it was a chilly crisp morning.
The kids love taking apples right off the tree and biting right into them.
We tried so many different kinds of apples.
Lots we have never even heard of.
Also while we were there we asked people walking by to take some family pictures of us.
I think they turned out pretty cute.
Then we hit up the Pumpkin Patch, saw some animals, and I stood in a crazy long line for fresh baked apple cider donuts that were to die for!!
Mmmm they were warm and perfect.
Now I want some right now, dang it.
After that we drove out of the country and into the city to do some walking around, dinner and shopping.
Oh how I love being right in the middle of the city and the country.
We grabbed some dinner shopped, and walked around downtown.
Brighton had some awesome hat hair and loved being in the city riding the trains
We got the boys really tired and I was really tired.
We were on the GO all day.
But we didn't stop there.
We decided for FHE to deliver some of our freshly picked apples to families in our Ward.
Brighton thought it was so fun that he could share his apples with his friends and take them to them in their house.
I love that he enjoys doing this services.
And I'm sure the families loved getting some yummy Honey Crisps Best Apples EVER! And right off a tree even better!
