Never Say Never

I just want to say thanks to all those comments I got on my last post. 

It was really nice to get to spend last Saturday with Daniel. 

I got lucky enough to spend last night with him too! 

His Boss felt bad for how long of hours he has been working so he let him have last night off. 

It has been raining this whole week. 

So whatever we were going to do it was going to have to be inside. 

I have been wanting to see the Justin Bieber movie.

I just thought it looked cute and I have heard a lot of good things. 

Last night Daniel said "we should go see that movie and take Bright." 

If anyone knows Daniel they know this is a miracle!!!

He does not like watching movies (yes it's true) 

and he especially hates going to the movies.

So needless to say I was excited!  

I was a little worried about taking B to the movies

but he does love Justin B music and he has been into movies lately.

(we have watched cars 6 times in the last 2 days) 

So I thought why not give it a shot. 

Well it was a success! He loved it!

He was dancing screaming laughing,

 I had more fun watching Brighton than the movie! 

He got a little restless at the end and we ended up leaving 

like 5-10 min early but all in all it was good. 

Saturday in the City

Over the weekend we went up to the City and went to the

  California Academy of Science 

It was so cool! They had an aquarium and a rain forest. 

They put you into this huge bubble like room, 

and it's very humid in there, and they have all 

kinds of animals that would live in the rain forest. 

They had butterfly's flying all over, birds and much much more. 

If you are ever in the San Fran area

 I would highly recommend checking it out. 

Daniel and I met up with an old high school friend Hollie and her cute family up there.

Brighton and her little girl hit it off really well. 

They were so cute together. 

Brighton was so cute he is talking more and more everyday! 

He just watches my lips when I talk and tries to mimic everything. 

He kept yelling FISH FISH!!! 

Then it was such a nice day we decided to walk the city and find some lunch. 

We walked to two places that we found on yelp but when we got there they were both closed. 

They only did dinner! Ugh so finally we ended up here 

at this Korean BBQ joint. 

We were a little scared but it was actually really good food! 

After lunch Daniel B and I walked back through Golden Gate Park 

and got a little lost looking for where we parked our car. 

I was so happy we did! 

The sun was going down and we found this beautiful pond with lots of ducks

B could not stop screaming DUCK DUCK! 

I looked over and I had to get my camera out fast! 

Daniel and Bright looked so cute together as father and son! 

Although I do miss Utah a lot it's so fun to live in a place with so much beauty! 

I feel very lucky and blessed!

I love these two so much!!!! I love Valentines day! 

It might just be my favorite holiday!

A Valentine for me...

Yesterday when I got home from being with a friend I saw a package sitting in front of my door. 

I thought to myself what did Daniel order now? 

When I noticed it was addressed to ME! 

It was from my sister Natalie and her Family.

I was so excited to open it up and see what was inside.... 

A Valentine box with cookies! Just what I needed! 

My family does remember Brighton and I  

even though we are so far from home. 

Thanks Jensen Family Brighton was in cookie heaven! They still tasted great and were very soft! 

My Day... you know you want to read on

i don't know what it is... i feel as though i am in a slump.

like i am in an old volkswagen bug trying to toot up a steep hill

 and can't quite make it. but some how i do

 and keep going through the motions. 

 here is how my day went today. 

i woke up made some eggs brighton loves eggs over easy and he dips his toast in the yoke

 or scrabbled with a little bit of cheese on top.

 then we got ready and decided to take daniel's clothes to the dry cleaners.
we walked over there cause thought it would be nice out

 it was like 60's today but very windy and cold. poor bright was shivering and hungry.
once we got home I went for something fast.

 chicken nuggets and chili, oh and chocolate milk. healthy right :-) 

 then he took an hour nap. i think he had a bad dream this was not like him to sleep for only an hour. 

i was tired but now B was up so i decided to make a Pot Pie

 really because i had everything to make it and thought

 if i can get it out of the way now I will have leftovers for the week and B loves loves this dish! 

get this yummy recipe  here. oh and i add corn to mine.

 then i thought well while i am boiling this chicken and shredding it

 i might as well do the rest of the chicken and make......

fajitas.

 so i made both dishes.( now that i am writing this i think i may be crazy).

 it *only* took me like 3 hours to do everything. 

now i have a pile of dishes in the sink and it makes me sick to think about doing them. 

next bright took a bath, read some books, got into the bathroom and ripped up toilet paper

 (which is still all over the floor) colored pink crayon on 3 different walls

 (i did clean that cause i wanted to see if that magic eraser worked... it did)

 had his milk brushed his teeth, danced to the glee music on the tv and went to bed. 

i'm not a huge glee fan it was just on.

pretty eventful right...? hmmm no not really this is why i am sharing it with you.  ;-)

 i just have to keep myself entertained some how when Daniel is gone all the time.

 I haven't really seen him and spent time with him since Christmas.(thank goodness i got see him then)
