Brighton's Room

So I have been trying really hard to get organized
with staying in this one bedroom and with the new baby coming.
Daniel and I threw out a lot of stuff,
good stuff too but we figured if we haven't used it in the last year it needed to go.

I really wanted Brighton's room to feel more like his room even if we are crammed into a tiny one bedroom.

You know I had to add a pic of Bright he looks so cute!

I think it turned out really well for what we have to work with.
He loves it! Every morning he wakes up and looks at his birds and counts them.
I let him help me put up the decals and I think that made him even more excited about them.
There are still some things I want to do in the room.
I want to make him a reading corner with fun pillows and maybe a rug I think he would love that.
We will see if I get to it or not.

I am happy with how it turned out. What do you think?

Happy Monday

Over the weekend Daniel and I celebrated 4 wonderful years.
We spent the day in the City on Saturday
We took Brighton here and also the beach.
Our friends Robyn and Chris watched B for us in the evening so we could catch a little dinner and ice cream.
We redecorated Brighton and new baby's room with this and a little more. (Pictures to come)
I bought these beautiful pillows for my couch.
I'm in my 8th month of pregnancy!!
Daniel had to work Sunday :(

Hope your weekend was nice too!

New York City take 5

Finally I am done sorry if these pictures are boring you!
Daniel has been bugging me for months to do this NY post.
There were just so many pictures to go through.

These next pictures are just some Randoms from the trip that I liked.

I also have to say when we flew home Daniel let me take his Business Class seat and he sat in the back in coach with Brighton. Did I mention we were on that flight for 9 hours!! We got stuck on the runway for 3 hours due to bad weather. Daniel only brought Brighton to me once and that was when he pooped. Sitting in first class was such an awesome experience! I got to lay back they brought me  breakfast I got to watch movies, and have milk and warm cookies!

I felt a little guilty but it was so nice to not fly with Brighton. After the flight was over in First class I had guys telling me that I should have been that one to sit in the back with the baby and that if they were Daniel they wouldn't have given me first class. Seriously who says that to someone?
I told them that I have an awesome husband!

A few people in coach came up to me and told me that Brighton was so good that whole time!
 It was nice to hear.

Spending a week in NY was fun! Staying in my Awesome hotel and seeing Daniel was even better!
There you have it I'm done! :)

See the Empire in the back ground!?
Yep taken while taking a bath.
It was a lot bigger than in this picture.

Love this face!

New York City take 4

This was such a beautiful day to go see Lady Liberty!

Daniel wanted to get Brighton's picture drawn by this lady.
It was a big waste of 5 bucks it didn't look anything like him when she was done. Ha ha
Made for a good story though I guess. :)

New York City take 3

Walking around the city I loved this street view.

Poor Brighton was so tired he could never get a good nap in
because we were always out n about.
I had to take this small cheap stroller because I didn't know how
I could take the bigger one from the airport to the hotel by myself.
And of course he had to have his silk pillowcase. :)

We also found a petting zoo in Central Park.
Brighton loves animals it was a lot of fun to see his reaction.

New York City take 2

This day we went to where the Two Towers once stood.
There really wasn't much to see but the feeling  just from being there
made me have a lot of emotions. I was happy we went there.

Through the fence where they once stood.

This kid was made for a big city!
He was so happy to see cars trucks buses!
Then we went and found a park he loved it!

I liked this balloon. :)

 Time to get clean!

Checking out the city.
You could see the Empire State Building very clearly from the bathtub window!
