Christmas Party

A little late of a post but oh well. 

Daniel and I were able to have a night out without kids. 

It was so nice to feel young free and in love again. 

We really don't ever get to go on dates.

time needs to move a little bit more slowly, it really is flashing before my eyes
nixon is still such a sweet and mellow babe
he takes a beating from bright daily but it's getting better
he is already in size 3 diapers
he has the biggest blue eyes
has started to really play with his toys and it's so fun to watch
has started to laugh out loud
is still getting up in the night to eat
trying to figure out how to transition him to brights room and when to sleep train
started sucking his thumb and finds it daily.. not sure what to do about this either?
all in all a sweet chubby baby

More friends

Bright was in LOVE with Lauren. He wanted her to hold him all the time.

 Would give her the googly eyes and tried to kiss her all the time. It was too funny!

Brighton had so much fun this week! He LOVES to have what he calls "friends" come over.
So fun that Daniel stays so close with his HS friends.
Trent came out to interview at a school so we made a fun trip out of it.
Toby and Annie live here now so of course we all had to get together and party. 

Saturday was spent in the city

 We went to Cheesecake Factory and ate outside on the top of the building.

 After spending some time walking around the city we met back up at our house to have a big sleep over.

 We had lots of junk food and stayed up late talking and watching Modern Family. 

We love having friends come and stay. 

So you better hurry up and come out before we are on to the next adventure!

We have had a busy week and lots of friends staying with us.

 First we had Betsy and Hudson come and stay with us for a few nights.

 We had a lot of fun eating out, going to the beach and going to the museum in SF.

Happy Birthday Daniel!

daniel's birthday was on january 2nd.

it's usually hard to celebrate daniel's birthday right after christmas and new years cause usually his b-day you go back to work.
this year daniel didn't have to go into work so we were able to do what ever he wanted.

he chose The California Academy of Science in san francisco. you may remember last years visit here.
this year was a lot more fun! brighton was SO excited about everything there!

then we went to the Cliff House for dinner, it has an amazing view! dinner over priced and not so good but that's okay.

daniel turned 27 this year, man we are getting old!

i don't know how i got so lucky to be with daniel! seriously though he is such a great person, dad, and husband! he is such a big help with the kids always no questions asked just the best! love love love you daniel always and forever happy birthday!
