Now I am ready!

Here are some of the pictures from my last shower that my sisters Monica and Natalie threw for me. I had such a good time at this shower. Natalie had the best idea of making Cafe Rio salads for the shower and they turned out Awesome! I think everyone really enjoyed it.

My sister's
My Mom
My Mother In-law

I just want to give a special thanks to Natalie for having the shower at her house and all that her and Monica did for my shower. I want to say thanks to everyone who came and for all the gifts I got for little Brighton. Thank You!

Payson Onion Days!

I don't really know why I love Payson Onion Days so much. I guess it's because in a way
it feels like Christmas in the summer. Everyone sleeps at my parents house Sunday night, (because if you don't you will not be able to get there to watch the parade because it goes right past their house on main street and the city blocks off the roads.)
So the tradition is:
Tents in the back yard for the kids.
Playing games and talking all night.
Snacking until we feel sick.
Finding somewhere to sleep, a couch, spare bed or outside.
Dads famous Labor Day breakfast! Eggs, bacon, pancakes, the works.
Sadly though this year my dad had to work, he had no idea he was scheduled to work until Smith's called and called at 6:00 am (of course no one answered the phone) so they come knocking on the door to get Dad to work.
Mom and I took charge on breakfast but we didn't do as good of a job.
Dad was mad he missed out, at least we have next year. :)

Poor Natalie had to share her birthday with Labor Day.

This is now my life when I get around any of my neices and nephews. "Is he kicking?" "I want to feel" They all want to feel and can't wait for Baby Brighton to get here!

There is always a sad ending to Payson Onion Days, it means summer has come to an end.
Until next year....
