Day in San Francisco

Brighton and I started off the day meeting up with Annie (One of Daniel's best friend's wife and now my friend) We met at the beach and then walked from her apt. to Fisherman's Wharf after all that walking we decided to get a little snack we were near all this good seafood and what do we get... In N Out. Ha I just love their hamburgers.

Then we walked back because we had to go pick up Toby. After picking up Toby we decided to head back to Baker Beach mainly to pick up my car but the sun setting was extra bonus.

We had an exciting day and Brighton was sad to go, he just loved putting his hands and feet in the sand. Who doesn't!?

I blame it on the Box!

Brighton pushed this box around for about 2 weeks. Then about a week ago he started walking from the couch to the chair. Then he would take a few more steps everyday. Now he is cruisin. You know when they learn something new and that's all they do... ya that's where we are at. I get so nervous he is going to topple over and hit the corner or something hard. I try not to let him see me nervous, I like to let him be a free bird and learn on his own (of course I will move him if he is by something really harmful) but inside I am thinking OH NO! He has had a few Owies, and sadly I know more are to come.

In other news, Life is still going good, I like Palo Alto more and more everyday. Daniel and I got new callings in Church. We will be teaching Primary CTR 6 class. I am very excited about this, I seriously don't even remember Primary. And being able to do it with Daniel is even better! But here I am on another Friday night (or every night at that) husband-less, blogging. What I wouldn't do for a Date with Just Daniel and I... ahhh One can only dream.

They love each other so much and you can see it! 

You have never seen a more excited baby than Brighton when he see's his Daddy in the morning

or when we go on our lunch dates. 

 It's been so fun to watch. 

Bath time is not easy

So since Daniel is gone every night I have to give Brighton a Bath All By Myself. I have glass doors on the tub so it makes it so hard to give him a bath. So a mom's gotta do what a mom's gotta do. I get in the bath with Brighton every time he needs a bath. It's just to hard to try and bend over the tub with these annoying glass doors in my way and my bathroom is tiny!

When Brighton is in the bath he will not sit down. He wants to stand and be everywhere you can be in a tub. It's just easier this way.

Daniel was home Saturday night so he got bath time duty!

As Daniel and I were walking around the Stanford Mall shopping center we came across this little Farmers Market (at the mall?!). There were so many good fruits and vegetables! We picked out the best watermelon. I love how much fresh food we can get out here!

Brighton took 6 steps last night........ I just don't really know what to think about all this?

My first photo shoot

Model Brighton I loved how these turned out! I am framing and printing these pictures for Daniels Fathers Day gift. (it's a good thing he works so much so I know he wont see these yet) I hope he loves them as much as I do!

I love doing photography! I should have started sooner. Easy to make look good when You have such a little cutie, I hope I can get better though.

Here are a few with a little photo shop and a few without. I like both for different reasons. Which do you like better? I would like to know.

Oh and the background is all a painting except the door handle and the light fixture. Cool huh.
 

Beach Bums

Saturday we took the day off and headed down to Santa Cruz! We left pretty early so we could beat the traffic, so we went down town and did what we do best... Shopping! More so window shopping but we did find a cute little baby boutique and bought Brighton a few toys. Then we got a little breakfast at Jamba Juice Love that place.

And I tested out my new camera. 

We wanted to take Brighton over to see the Sea Lions and he fell asleep on the way there Party Pooper! 

Needless to say we had a blast, although I was so worried about keeping Bright from getting burnt I got sunburned. Go figure, and for the record I did ask Daniel to put sunscreen on my back (where I got burnt) and he said he would and then never did. Oh well I forgave him.  

Washer= Babysitter

Oh the joy of watching the Washer spin, and spin, and SPIN! I think Brighton could watch this thing go all day. Which makes a good BABYSITTER when I am getting ready.
