Where does the time go!?
It feels like yesterday I was sharing pictures of his birth.
Yet I can't remember what our family was like without him in it.
Nixon is still the sweetest boy
Loves his brother and puts up with all of his "Steamrollers" and "bulldozers"
He is tough!
He LOVES LOVES LOVES his Ma Ma
You will find Nixon holding onto my legs or being held 90% of his day.
I'm still breastfeeding him, more than I would like to admit.
He hates hates hates milk.
When I trick him and put it into his sippy he tries scraping it off his tongue after a little sip.
I have tried flavored milks, almond milk. Hates them all!
He loves Naked "green" Juice and water
Not sure how or when I am going to wean him.
He loves nursing!
Hopefully sooner than later.
He loves giving high 5's
kisses and hugs.
He gives Daniel the best hugs whenever he comes home from work.
Whenever he gets into "trouble" he talks under his breath as if complaining of being in trouble, so cute
He loves to Dance and listen to music.
He talks so much more than Bright ever did at this age
His new word is Apple he says it when ever we eat apples or I open the fridge
He says it very clear too, kind of creepy
Yes we have been eating lots of apples
Really good at being on the go and napping whenever we are out n about and staying happy.
Still takes 2 naps a day
Morning usually 1-2 hours and the second nap 1-2 hours also
Goes to bed at 8-830
Wakes up usually around 7-730
He has been pretty sick lately and cutting lots of teeth.
Sometimes he sleeps through the night and most of the time not.
Has 4 teeth on top
4 teeth on bottom
Cutting 2 molars on top.
Is a much pickier eater than Brighton was
Eats pancakes, yogurt, apple sauce, tortilla's with cheese, chicken, rice, rice cereal, baby oatmeal, string cheese, green smoothies, fruit.
loves to snuggle
play trucks and makes cute truck sounds
plays baseball and loves to put the ball on the T and hit it
is such a Climber, something I never dealt with, with Brighton
Has big time separation anxiety.
Makes it really hard to ever go out without him.
hopefully he will grow out of this soon!
We were planning a fun Birthday Party for him, but after seeing how much anxiety he got at Brighton's party we decided not to do a party. Still unsure what we are going to do.?
We call him
Nixie, nix, bugaboo, baby boy,
Love him so much!! So happy he is in our family!
