Sacred Grove/Niagara Falls

Before Daniel went back to work we wanted to explore the East. 

We decided to drive to the Hill Cumorah Pageant 

The pageant was okay. A little intense for my liking. 

But what really made the 6 hour drive was the Sacred Grove and visiting where 

Joseph Smith grew up and seeing his home and farm. 

Wow so awesome! I loved it so much! 

The bible in the picture below was not the bible Joseph read from but it was from that same time frame 

It was so nice because we explored the farm and his home and right before we went into the Grove Brighton fell asleep and soon to follow was Nixon. 

Daniel I read from the Pearl of Great Price Joseph Smith History. We sat in the Grove taking it all in and picturing what it must have been like. Also wondering where exactly the sighting took place. If you ever have the chance to do this in your life I would recommend it  

After that we Daniel decided to drive another 2 hours to see Niagara Falls. 

It was really beautiful and cool just a long drive home. 

So far I am loving the East Coast!
