I really was sitting here on the computer trying to buy some finishing touches for the house when Brighton came over and hugged me and said "I love you mommy" even though he has so much enegry and drives me up the wall when he is around Nixon, he really is such a good sweet boy.
I wanted to write some things about him at this age/stage in his life.
When ever he is hungry and I give him food he always hugs and kisses me after he gets in a few bites. Like he is so happy he has food that is how he expresses it to me.
you would think I was starving my child but really he is just too busy to eat until he is really really hungry.
He loves Nixon so much and really is getting much better with him.
We still have the occasional stratch to the face and steam rolling but really much better.
Still very obssesed with trains and trucks.
I got him the cutest bedding from Land of Nod, I will post pictures of his room when it's complete.
We ended up giving him our old bed and buying a new one for us and he loves how big it is.
Not potty trained yet.
I am trying to get the courage to start on Monday.
He is very much ready so I will have to keep you posted on that too.
Loves his new bike and asks to go on a bike ride everyday all day.
He doesn't go very fast though so it takes forever to get anywhere.
I usually just let him ride in the drive way.
Still takes naps but usually they have been all over the place.
Now that he is not in the crib I can hear him playing with all of his toys for about an hour in his room then when I go to check on him he is tucked into his bed door shut and the light off.
When did he get so big!?
When he referrs to Daniel and I together he calls us guys "hey guys come watch me" the other days he was looking for us and said this "guys GUYS (no response from us) hmm that's strange"
He is loving the new house, tells me at least 10 times a day he loves the new house and calls it his big white house.
I really feel we are at the right place at the right time.
Although I really do miss Ca and all my CA friends.
