Adulthood

When did you feel like you really came into adulthood?
For me it has been since we left BYU and had Brighton.
It seemed so easy taking care of myself and even when Daniel was in school
and I was working I never worried about money or really much of anything.
We didn't really have any bills besides 1 car payment rent and food.
living in Utah Piece of cake!

But as I have been thinking these past couple of days
(I blame these deep thoughts on pregnancy hormones)
I realize even though technically I have a lot more to worry about then before my days of so called "adulthood"
I really don't have much to worry about.

I don't want the blog that makes my life seem perfect
but at the same time I hate complaining
because as I have been reading some of my friends blogs
and even blogs of people I don't know I have realized
my problems seem so small to me compared to theirs.

Everyone has their own trials, I have friends that say
"I don't know how you deal with having your husband never home"
Or "How are you going to live in a 1 bedroom with 2 kids"
These things seem crazy but I know I can deal with it.

I always find my mind thinking heavily for my friends and fellow bloggers
that are going through a divorce,
spending sleepless nights with a child in the hospital,
going through fertility problems,
the husband who lost or can't find a job, and so on.

Although Adulthood may not be fair and really hard at times.
To me it is SOOO much better than my childhood and I loved my childhood
 (for the most part) ;)

So here's to remembering the worry free days,
and trying to have more of those days even though we have more to worry about.
Embrace what God has in store for us and remember it's only temporary.

I love this post! Sometimes I feel life can't get any harder but really my tiny problems are nothing compared to other people!

I enjoyed this post as well. :) It's nice to get a reminder sometimes that what we think is hard, really isn't as bad as what others are going through. I love reading your blog and your up-beat attitude towards everything!! Thanks for sharing!

You really are so positive about everything! I pale in your comparison.
To answer your questions, the guard rail we have is the Regalo brand and I believe we ordered it off of onesteapahead.com. There are tons of different options. Ours just has some straps and weights you put under the mattress to hold it on. It was a cheaper one, and works great. You can use it on any bed. I think that was what you were asking... unless you were asking where the bed was from and in that case, Walmart $169 lol The book shelves are from Ikea, really cheap. They come in a few colors, the blue being one of them, but we spray painted some pink for Paetyn too. Steal away!
