For the record

Brighton is a little over 21 months and he is just changing and growing up so much! I know that by the time the new babe gets here he will be so much more mature in just 3+ months. I wanted to write some funny things down that he is doing right now.

He is such a little parrot these days, he will copy things you say the tv says other people say everything. I really have to watch myself now.

The other day we were driving in the car and I had the radio on with that Katy Perry Firework song. (you know when you hear a song so much you don't even hear it anymore? ya this was one of those times) the song was half way through and all the sudden I hear Brighton sing Boom Boom Boom... Moon Moon Moon... I was laughing so hard but I didn't want him to know I was watching him cause I wanted him to keep singing. I usually always change that song cause I don't care for it much and I am pretty sure that was the first time he has heard it. Now he goes around the house singing it.

When we shop he loves to help me hold things or bags. So I always say you got it? He responds "I got it" so cute!

He is back to being obsessed with Cars I think he knows the new movie is coming out. At the beginning of the movie Lightning is saying Speed, Speed Focus Did I eat breakfast and so on you get it. Brighton will copy and say right on key "Speed Speed Focus Breakfast Kachow and he sings the songs and just loves that movie right now.

He is still obsessed with buses fire trucks any truck and cop cars.

Says so many words and gets better and better at talking everyday.

Loves to count, I will count with him and when he says 2 he say it in Spanish Dos. Anything that is the same pillows toys cups he will count them. He likes to count in Spanish and English.

He went through a little dip in being a picky eater but he will eat anything we are eating. I don't have to order for him he will just share with us. It's so nice!

He loves turkey sandwiches and nectarines right now. Still loves Eggs and Apple Sauce. LOVES Starburst just like his dad.

He is starting to realize my belly is getting bigger and kisses it all the time. Not sure if he know's there is a baby in there but knows about babies and get's excited about them.

He is really good still but if it's nap time watch out he is a crazy person. He seriously needs his sleep or he just can't function. Is taking 3-4 hour naps and goes down around 1-2. Wakes up at 8:30am-10 and goes down at 8:30pm-9:30.

Is so so busy all the time, plays really well by himself but he is going to LOVE having a little brother.

He is not super possessive and is pretty good at sharing his toys so that's nice, let's hope it stays that way.

Is loving loving swimming, he thinks he can swim, we had a little scare where he jumped in the pool Daniel was in the pool but no where near him. Daniel swam over and scooped him from the bottom. When B came up he started laughing and gave Daniel a big hug and started patting him on the back as if he was saying I'm okay dad. Talk about a heart attack!!! He is crazy but I will say he does really well blowing bubbles in the water and holding his breath.

Loves sports he is so coordinated.

Had his first 2 nights away from Daniel and I while Daniel's Awesome sister Emily watched him for us so we could go to lake powell and according to her he did really well eating sleeping and loved playing with his cousins Grant and Sam. He has always done really well getting left by us but I wasn't sure how he would do being away from us for 3 days 2 nights. But all went well :)

Although he is busy he is never to busy to stop and give me a kiss or a hug.   

It is going to be fun to see the differences between these two little boys.
