Well since Monday I have spent maybe 5 hours with Daniel this week.
( I don't count sleeping as time spent)
He is flying to UTAH to do recruiting for PWC out of SF after work tonight.
What!! How can this be??
This is what I look forward to every week...
The weekend!
He will be home Sunday night.
I can make it... right?
Don't get me wrong I LOVE being with Brighton.
It would just be nice to...
have an adult conversation
to make dinner for 2
saying here can you hold him for a sec
(instead of putting him on the floor while I go to the bathroom and he cries)
the list could go on
Just saying... it would be nice
I know people are in worse situations than I am in
But...
again, it would be nice
I can make it... right?

You can do it girl! I'm impressed that you dare stay there by yourself... Ray is going to a Jazz game with his brothers and I have to go all the way home to Cedar cuz I'm too scared to stay by myself. So you're one step ahead of me... if that makes you feel any better :)

I'm so sorry Steph. I had a glimpse of this life and I know how you feel. You can do it though! I know we got out of that situation because I probably couldn't have handled it but, the fact that your still there means YOU CAN! Love ya.
Yes you can do it! I only have the weekends too to look forward to because that's the only time Ben can come home. We are very blessed to be in a situation where Katya and I could move out here to be near Ben so when he does have the time off we can spend it together. Only being around a baby all day can be hard especially when you feel like a single mom. Just remember you ARE doing it so you CAN do it. Brighton is lucky to have such a strong mom! The sacrifices adults have to make.
Yes, you can. (off the subject, the guys miss being home too. work gets old after the first 8-10-12 hours) Old guy advice, enjoy the little guys while you can. Soon comes school and school chums, Brighton won't be underfoot, but he won't want to hang and cuddle either. Each stage is fun, enjoy!
That is so hard! I know. So sorry. It really does seem impossible to make it without them. I'm glad you made it because it's now Sunday :) Keep watching those cute videos of that boy. I feel a lot like you right now. I still wished you moved a little more south! I wish I had better advise for you, but just keep on keeping on.
