Brighton's 1 year stats

Brighton's loves going to the doctor's office cause he loves meeting new people and he loves attention.
I seriously have never seen a more social baby in my life!

Every time my doctor see's Brighton she says,
"he is such a happy baby...knock on wood"
Every time ha ha.

Weight 18lbs 10 oz  6%
Height 28 1/2 inches 15%
Head 45.5 cm  25%

Seriously!!?
When did he get so small?
I thought for sure he would have hit 20lbs.
All this kid does is eat.
Looks like no new car seat for us yet.

He got 4 shots it was sad, he only cried a little so that was good.
He tested negative for Tuberculosis, so that was good too.
Next month we go in for blood work, not looking forward to that.

He is a healthy happy boy and is doing awesome!

Brighton and Lucy share the same genes! Little is better. :)

I hate it when they are too small for the other car seat! They get looking WAY too big for the smaller one. Maybe next appointment he'll be big enough?

My little girl was 18 lbs at a year as well and now at 3.5 she is only 28 pounds! I changed her to a forward car seat anyway! :)

You can still get him a new car seat. Most forward facing carseats can rear face too. He doesn't have to be in an infant carrier.

I agree with Monica. Tiny is better :) Lex was only 18 lbs at a year.

I think it is a boy thing...Merick and a few of his friends were the same way. I thought he would NEVER reach 20 lbs so he could turn around in his carseat. The law is 20lbs OR 1 years old. Turn that handsome boy around and let him enjoy the world of driving in the backseat!!! It is so much fun to watch your child experience facing forward...their reactions are priceless!

NO! It is 20 lbs AND 1 year. Even if the law says 20 or there is still a proper use clause. There isn't a car seat sold in the US that allows you to turn a child before 20 lbs.
