We made it to California, Brighton did so good. We stayed in a hotel half way through in Bakersfield and it was a pretty ghetto hotel. Daniel kept having nightmares that someone was trying to break into the moving truck and steal everything. He tried to leave at 2 in the morning and just drive the rest of the way. I told him no way! After about every hour of him getting up and acting like a crazy person. I told him we could get ready and go at 5 am.
It was also so nice to have the members of our ward be there to help us move into our new home. We got everything moved within an hour.
We are still adjusting to everything but we have a pool, hot tub, workout area, and nice park with tennis courts all within walking distance of our place. The ward seems very nice hopefully I can make some new friends soon. I think Brighton is finally adjusting, he is back to his normal sleep schedule even sleeping in till 9:30-10:30am.

I was playing that video, and Robie was in the other room and says, "Is that Daniel talking?" Seriously, Daniel is JUST like his Dad! I wonder if Daniel was having nightmares of people breaking into the moving van bc of the story I told u about that happening. Lol. Give Brighton a big hug and kiss for me!!!
Your little one is so stinking cute! I missed seeing you guys while you were here! Maybe when you come to visit. Maybe I will have my little one by then!??! Humm Maybe!!

to answer your question...yes I do know my way to San Jose...I will be there tomorrow actually. Glad the traveling went well! The day we moved here we stayed in a ghetto hotel and didn't sleep well because we thought people would break into our cars and steal our stuff!
I don't know what Daniel was worried about. It was hard enough to pack the penske...Did he really think someone would want to unpack it for him? :)

Steph it was so good to see you guys this Christmas! We got Daniel's announcement - it is just awesome! You guys are just livin it up and paving the way for all the rest of us school-finishing-childless-parentish couples! :) Wish we could have you in AZ but we know you'll love CA!
